These are the reviews I’ve received on Viator and Trip Advisor for the walking I do with a company. What I do on my own is streetrun. Say what? Streetrunning is a more spontaneous and intuitive way of moving through a city. On a streetrun we make it happen and we let it happen. See? It’s usually an experience to remember.

“It was a gray day with the Paris skies periodically crying on us. However, our guide Gil Soltz made the trip well worth the visit. We started at the Pompidou Center of Art (which looks like it’s still under construction…with all it’s ‘insides’ hanging out). We ended at the site of the Bastille. “My two twenty-something daughters and I took a Latin Quarter walk the last day of our trip to Paris. Gil was our guide and he was wonderful! He knew his stuff!!…and tailored the walk to our interests (there were only 3 other people on the tour). You could tell he was passionate about history and could answer all our questions! Lots of walking so be prepared…comfortable shoes and water. The only regret we had was that it was the last day of our trip. We certainly would have taken more tours if we had more time. “We went on the French Revolution walk of Paris in March. Our guide Gil was great. Although we were given lots of information it never felt like we were being overloaded. In fact, even though it was freezing cold, the two hour tour passed really quickly. The tour moves at a very easy pace and takes in quite a lot of sights you may have already seen (well we had) but we had never viewed them in regards to the Revolution so the information added to them made them even more interesting.”–Cybelle

“I’ve only done one of the Classic Walks tours. It was the World War II walk and our guide was Gil. The tour takes you to sites related to the Nazi occupation of Paris , the Resistance, and life of Parisians during this time period. There were only 4 people on this tour with the guide so we were able to ask a lot of questions and have mini-discussions about the time period. Gil was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions.”–Jack
